She was predeceased by: her husband James C. Franklin; and her siblings, Jesse Harris, Curtis Harris, Jack Grady Harris, Lynn Harris, Billy Harris, Mae Harris, Geraldine Mills, Mary Lou Harris Long and Pearl Jackson.
She is survived by: her nieces, Kathleen Burnett-Chaffin, Jean Farley and Linda Harris; her sons, James P. Franklin (Brenda Kay) of Tupelo and Jerry W. Franklin (Janet) of Brandon; and her grandchildren, Kristi Wright (Tony), Keith Franklin (Lisa), Jeri Lynn Rushing (Jeremy) and Jody Franklin. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and other near relatives.
