He was predeceased by: his father Andrew Jackson Ray; and his son Jackie Ray. He is survived by: his mother Clara Bell Weaver Ray; his wife Sherrell Ray; his children, Tony Ray of Okolona, Phillip Ray (Colleen) of Belden, Tracy Ray (Darla) of Okolona and B. B. Lollar (Andy) of Okolona; his grandchildren, Levi Ray (Hali), Jessi Cole Ray, Dustin Russell (Jenny), Charlie Thompson (Chuck), McKinnon Ray (Hannah), Michael Ray (Miranda), Matthew Ray, McClain Ray, Trey Davis (Molly), Victoria Jones, Heston Lollar (Jordan) and Blakely Nolan (Auston); his sisters, Donna Holst, Patsy Aubuchon (Bobby) and Marilyn Halldorson (Ed); his son Elvis Davis; and his caregivers, Haley Grace Jones and Jaqueline Young. He is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pearson Chapel Church of the Nazarene (903 Fillmore Dr, Tupelo, MS 38801). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
