It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Simpson of Okolona, Mississippi, who passed away on July 27, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Walter Simpson and Virginia Davis Simpson; and his cousin Sue Ann S. Williams. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Smith Simpson; and his cousins, Jerry Wayne Jernigan, Janice J. Harrelson, Betty H. Milling and Shirley S. Fortenberry.
