She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis Darnell, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Dennis Darnell, Jr. of Okolona and Michelle Simmons of Shannon; her grandchildren, Reagan Darnell (Liz), Kaleb Darnell (Scottilyn), Mack Simmons and Mallorie Simmons; her great grandchildren, Zoey Simmons and Weston Simmons; and her great-niece Mendy Carnathan Vickers.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (315 W Main St, Okolona, MS 38860). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
