He was predeceased by: his father Charles William Lewis; his wife Rosie Velt; and his sister Margaret Houk. He is survived by: his sons, Charles Anthony Lewis of Okolona and William Claude Lewis of Okolona; and his siblings, Willie Lewis of Houston, June and Normae Lewis. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
