She was predeceased by: her husband Col. Charles C. Ashby; her parents, Hubert Miller and Clair Miller; and her sister Gladys Efaw. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Matt Ashby, Heather Liles, William Ashby and Joseph Powers; and her great grandchildren, Matt Ashby, Jr., Emily Ashby, Catalina Liles and Madelina Liles.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John's Episcopal Church (705 Rayburn Ave, Ocean Springs, MS 39564). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Biloxi National Cemetery (400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS 39531).
