We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2024, at the age of 72, Winfred Bivins of Ocean Springs, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Bivins; his son Anthony Marcell; and his siblings, Shannon and Veronica. He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Mae Bivins; his children, Randall (Amaryliss), Michael (Shonda), Jonathan, Tamika (Seth) and Veronica; his siblings, Maxine (Keith), Aaron (Rosemary), David (Denise), Donna, Lanessa and Anthony; his grandchildren, Khadija, Qurhan, Kaleb, Micheala, Giotti, Amari, Nadia, Ayden and Sydney; his great grandchildren, Laela, Qu'Lani, Quban and Journi; and his pet Sebastian.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

“I am so very sorry for your loss, I know that he will be greatly missed. I worked with Leon for 17 years and there was hardly a day that we didn’t have many good laughs. We would scare one another or someone else, we would laugh so hard that it bring tears to our eyes. We also had many serious conversations as well. I along with his other colleagues at the school will always cherish his memories. I know that our sadness could never compare to the sorrow that you and your famIly must feel.”
