She is survived by: her children, Frederick August Sass, Johanna Marzolph Sass, Charlotte Hurt (John), Lorain Fontana (Carl Jude), Charles, Jr., James Gilbert, Steve Gilbert (Meg), Holly Morris (Trex), Louis Gilbert (Ann), Dewey Gilbert (Susan) and Julie Metcalf (Chris); her grandchildren, Michael Hurt (Lauren Cowell), Erin Robbins (Brad), Charles, III Gilbert (Jonna), Nicholas Gilbert (Kristi), Brandon Moseley (Charlie Nickens), Brandon Morris (Jennifer), Cameron Morris (Emily), Hunter Gilbert (Anna), Amanda Clawson (Josh), Raymond Gilbert (Ashlyn), Emily Gilbert, Taylor Metcalf and Reid Metcalf; her great grandchildren, Ashly Beech (Dustin), Bryan Hurt, Emma Robbins, Addison Gilbert, Gaven Folkes, Brookelynn, Charles, IV, Brent, Makinzee Gilbert, Becca, Hudson Morris, Bennett, Jack, Charlie Morris, Baker Clawson, Tilda Gilbert, Adalynn and Grayson Gilbert; and her great great grandchild Macie Graham.
ZOOM meetings and Facetime kept her in touch with her great-grandbabies and loved ones, necessitated by the COVID pandemic.
