She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Brown and Mildred Brown; her son Bradford Charles; and her sister Gwen Bryner. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Charles A. Smith; her child Rhome Edwin Smith; and her siblings, Dolaris Higgins, Schewida Farragut and Dean Brown. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
