He was predeceased by: his parents, J. T. Evans and Pearl Evans; his stepson David Evans; and his sisters, Mary Griffin and Trudy Dodson.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Evans; his stepdaughter Debra Cox; his stepgrandson Dwayne Cox; and his siblings, Patti Lennert and Jimmy Evans.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home - Ocean Springs (911 Porter Ave, Ocean Springs, MS 39564). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at the Crestlawn Memorial Park Cemetery (4111 Bienville Blvd, Ocean Springs, MS 39564).
