He is survived by: his wife Bonnie McMillan Thornton; his sons, Victor Burge (Laura) and Adrian Riser-Burge (Caydee); his sisters, Joyce McKinley and Frances Hill (Doug); his sister-in-law Trish Thornton; and his sisters, Katherine Howell (James), Margie Younger (Jesse), Juanita Winstead and Bonnie Mazingo (Doug). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
