She was predeceased by: her husband Luther Douglas Burchinal; her parents, Neville J. Gonsoulin and Jeanne Blanchard Gonsoulin; and her siblings, Rosemary Gonsoulin Medlin and Norman J. Gonsoulin.
She is survived by: her sister JoAnn Gonsoulin Wetzel (John) of Long Beach, MS; her daughter Mary R. Lamey (Reginal) of Perkinston, MS; and her grandsons, Samuel R. Shivers of Ocean Springs, MS, Michael D. Shivers (Jessica) of Ocean Springs, MS and Dale W. Shivers of Ocean Springs, MS. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, 5 nieces and 6 nephews.
