He is survived by: his wife Terry; his son Doug Van Valkenburg; his daughter-in-law Sandi; his daughter Dianna Bo; his son-in-law Gregor; his grandchildren, Connor Bo, Kate Bo and Madeleine Van Valkenburg; and his sister Barbara Fransen.
