She was predeceased by: her father Virgil L. Sherrell, Jr.; and her sister Erin Gosey. She is survived by: her son James Travis Owens, Jr.; her mother Barbara Martin; her stepfather Ricky Treloar; and her siblings, Margaret Sherrell, Kiersten Treloar, Lela Martin, Justin Sherrell and Anthony Sherrell. She is also survived by her grandparents and many nieces and nephews.
