It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nelva Mavis Collins in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, who passed away on October 7, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father John Utley; and her husband Edward Gene Collins. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Pittman (Clyde), Lisa Ellis (Jimmy), Teresa Ballinger (Phillip), Jimmy Collins and Mark Collins (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Melissa White (Eddie), Matthew Pittman (Kelly), Jonathan Pittman, Brittnay Chausse (Nathan), Chad Ellis, Heather Sumrall (Cory), Hailey Collins, Malachi Collins, Mark A. "Bubba" Collins of Hunter, Alora Charlton (Christopher), Kayla Houston and Sara Houston; her great grandchildren, Colby White, Carlyn White, Easton White, Kaiden Chausse, Broxyn Sumrall, Harper Pittman, Matilyn Pittman and Onyx Bardwell; her pet Thomasina; and her grandsons, Jesse, Colby and Easton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
