She was predeceased by: her husband Realus W. Shattles; her daughter Donna Shattles; her parents, Johnny A. Faggard and Agnes Goff Faggard; and her sisters, Christine Sauer, Maxine Clay Gonzalez, Ruby Seymour and Pat Heilman.

She is survived by: her children, Arlene Brewer (Randy), Karen Buchanan (John), Samantha Shattles (Joey Daniels) and Rainer Shattles (Edie); her grandchildren, Shane Buchanan, Matt Buchanan, Rainer Shattles II (Karen), Kimberly Shattles Benefield and Eli Brewer; her great grandchildren, Cameron Brown, Alyssa Shattles, Lana Shattles, Leah Shattles, Walker Shattles, Wyatt Shattles, Ken Benefield, Kylee Benefield, Kade Benefield, Hunter Buchanan and Cohen Kudron; and also Debie Neal Ray.
