He is survived by: his father Earl Varnadoe; his wife Joyce Hixon Varnadoe; his children, Kimberly Varnadoe Carden (William), Michael Varnadoe and Cheryl Masters (John); his grandchildren, William Leighton Carden and Savannah Dey Carden; and his great grandchild Hydelyn Joyce Bryant Carden. He is also survived by friends and family as a generous, compassionate friend, a loving husband.
