It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Patrick Ovitt in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, who passed away on January 27, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ovitt and Shirley Ovitt; his wife Isabella; and his stepfather Slicker. He is survived by: his daughters, Christine and Helen; his brother Jerry; his sister-in-law Pam Ovitt; his brother Dennis Ovitt; his stepmother Mary Ovitt; his half-brothers, Tom, Jeff and Tracy Ovitt; and his grandchildren, John Baird, Christine Baird, Jacob Williams and Seth Williams.
The family requests that all condolances come in as a form of donations to either the Shriners Hospital for Children or St.Jude Children's Research Hospital in the name of the late John Patrick Ovitt.
