With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hubert Sheffield of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, born in Fulton, Mississippi, who passed away on October 19, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Senter Sheffield and Hubert Stevens Sheffield; and his brother Emory Sheffield. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Kay Allday Sheffield of Ocean Springs; his children, Christopher Neil (Kim), Brian Lee Sheffield (Denise) of Brandon, MS and Holly Marie Moore (Jason) of Brandon, MS; his stepchildren, Jason Allday (Sydney), Lei Walters (Shane) of Ovett, MS and Atlana Pao (Wilton) of Margate, FL; and his siblings, Richard Sheffield of Scottsboro, AL, David Sheffield (Cynthia) of Ovett, MS, Buddy Sheffield (Nina) of New Bern, NC, Mary Love Loftis (Bart) of Gulfport, MS and Lilla Rose Braford (Doug) of Gulfport, MS. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund of First Baptist Church of Ocean Springs.
