He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Ivey and Irene Ivey; his great grandchild Anchor Adkins; and his brother Ronnie Ivy. He is survived by: his wife Doris Thompson Ivey; his children, Darrin Ivey (Crissy) and Kim Hagan (James); his grandchildren, Shelby Ivey (Kimberly), Katie Adkins (Patrick), Mallory White (Levi), Zane Hagan (Lauren), Gabrielle Ivey and Lola Ivey; and his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Hunter, Lennon, Bella, Charter, Sadie, Chapen, Harper, Jaxon and Harmony-Grace.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home - Ocean Springs (911 Porter Ave, Ocean Springs, MS 39564). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mineral Spring Baptist Church Cemetery (1643 S County Road 19 S, Taylorsville, MS 39168).
