It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glen E. Syring of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, born in Wausau, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Syring and Nora Rheinschmidt Syring; his stepmother Ellen Syring; and his brother Roy Syring. He is survived by: his wife Susan Oatman Syring; his daughters, Michelle Syring (Michelle Marshall) and Rachel Ryan (Kevin); his grandchildren, Nora, Patrick and Daniel Ryan; his brother David Syring; his siblings-in-law, Sherry Tetzlaff (Gary), John Oatman (Jean), Mike Oatman (Lisa), Chuck Oatman (Kris) and Debbie Syring; and his nieces and nephews, Travis Tetzlaff, Sean Tetzlaff, Jessica Oatman, Jonathon Oatman, Paul Oatman, Terry Oatman, Ashley Struzynski and Becky Syring.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be used to establish a Scout Scholarship to assist scouts to attend summer and winter camps locally.
