She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Nilsson and Betty Nilsson. She is survived by: her husband Clifford Waters; her children, Kristen Wheelock (Ryan) and Gordon Waters (Lauren); her sister Helen Nilsson (Jenny); and her grandsons, Nolan Wheelock, Archie Wheelock and Collin Schenkenberg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
