He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Creel and Margaret Creel; and his brother Michael Creel. He is survived by: his wife Toni Balius Creel; his children, Christy Goble, James "Goobie" Goble and Derek Creel; and his siblings, Lance Creel (Lynn), Tody Creel (Tracey) and Sylvia Creel (Jo). He is also survived by several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
