He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Bill Brooks and Barbara Bradley Brooks of Gastonia, N. C.; his siblings, Rhonda Holland and Richard Brooks; and his former wife Kimberly Elizabeth Brooks.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Renee Brooks of Ocean Springs; his daughters, Margaret Balding (Jon), Rebecca Fuller (Bryan), Rachel Cartwright (Brian) and Sharon McCarthy (Kevin); his siblings, Deborah Langford (Coleman), Joann Lee (Robert), David Brooks (Marilyn), Margaret Brooks Beaty, Floyd Billy Brooks, Jr. and Barbara Brooks Bradley; his grandchildren, Grant Cartwright, Renee Brooks, Courtney Balding, Macy McCarthy, Elizabeth Balding, McKenzie Cartwright, Tate Cartwright and Quinn Fuller; his great grandchildren, Jocelyn Stephens, Kyrell Fleming, Oliver Brooks, Avery Cartwright and Giovanni Fleming; his uncle Marshall Bradley; and his aunt JoAnn Brooks. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
