He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Murphy and Cleo Murphy; his siblings, Evelyn, Robert and Norma; and his son Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene; and his son Don. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, 3 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Ocean Springs (502 Jackson Ave, Ocean Springs, MS 39564). A Mass was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Biloxi National Cemetery (400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS 39531).
