He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Tootle and Nora Ackerson; his brothers, Douglas Tootle and Wayne Tootle; his daughter Jessica Tootle; and his grandson Logan Daughtry.
He is survived by: his wife Kaye Meyer Tootle; his daughters, Samantha Daughtry (Chris) and Adrienne Tootle; his stepchildren, Jay Kelly, Christy Kelly and Tracy Graham; his grandchildren, Corbin Daughtry, Evan Harris, Jordan Waite and Parker Kelly; and his niece Merry Gutierrez.
