She was predeceased by: her parents, William C. Hammer and Shirley Jean Hammer. She is survived by: her husband Bill Ivey; her daughters, Tracy Berg and Dr. Stephanie Berg; her son-in-law Dr. Scott Prawat; her grandchildren, Jordan Palmer, Jenna Palmer (Taylor Bowles), Heath Dalmont, Danielle Prawat and Juliette Prawat; and her siblings, Dennis Hammer (Jerri), Cathy Blackbird, Billy Hammer (Mary) and Dr. David Hammer (Tamara). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Unity Primitive Baptist Church (11550 Hwy 63 S., Moss Point, MS 39562). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
