She was predeceased by: her parents, Anne Zirkle and George Zirkle; her husband Dr. Roger Simnicht; and her granddaughter Anna Claire Simnicht. She is survived by: her children, Laura Simnicht and Dr. Keith Simnicht (Kim); and her grandsons, Caleb Simnicht (Lindsey), Nathan Simnicht and Owen Simnicht.
