He is survived by: his children, Angela Capers (Jamie) of Tyler, TX, Stephanie Miller (Stanley) of Fort Worth, TX, Jennifer Dyson (Roderick) of Brandon, MS, Victoria Hopkins (Lee) of Brandon, MS and Ashly Smith (Zack) of Ridgeland, MS; his grandson Mack Suggs, Jr. (Chelsie) of Little Rock, AR.; and his sisters, Bobbie Taylor-Martin of Oxford, MS, Pearly Roberson of Oxford, MS, Annie Buckley of Arkansas and Hattie Joyce Bridges of St. Louis, MO.. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.
