He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Curtis" Turnage, Sr. and Melinda Elizabeth "Lizzie" Smith Turnage; and his siblings, George C. Turnage, Jr., Gerald Turnage, Larry Turnage, Thomas M. Turnage, Lanelle Graham, Irene Stamps, Dorothy Reynolds and Louise Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Sharon Fitzhugh Turnage; and his brothers, Dewey L. Turnage (Terrie) and Wayne Turnage (Kathy). He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews, and other family members.
