He was predeceased by: his parents, John Duran and Lessie Mae Robertson Duran; his siblings, Lennie Ree Ballard, Gracie Kelly, Nannie Baysinger, Homer, Horace, Lewis, Frank, Bob, W. W. "Boy" Duran and Howard Duran; and his grandson Jason Woods.
He is survived by: his wife Murle Hamilton Duran of Noxapater; his children, Dennis Duran (Mylinda) of Louisville, Ralph D. Duran (Jodie) of Noxapater and Susan McDaniel (Jim) of Philadelphia, Mississippi.; his grandchildren, Chance McDaniel, Heath McDaniel (Evyn), Ty Duran, Morgan Duran, Madison McDaniel, Wyatt McDaniel (Candace), Jeremy Woods and Lacy Stone; his great grandchildren, Maverick McDaniel, Dalton, Kaylee, Jada, Calista and Landon Woods; and his sister Mary Kugle. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
