He is survived by: his wife Helen Carolyn May; his son Herman Cooley May; his sister Sandra May Copeland (Bobby); his nieces and nephews, Henry Vick Phelps IV, Bob Copeland, Robin Copeland and Beth Rittler; and his grandchildren, Leland and Hamilton May.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the building fund of the United Methodist Church of Anguilla or the Wiley Magee Agriculture & Health Care scholarship fund at Hinds Community College.
