He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Vick Phelps II and Dorothy Cole Phelps; and his wife Cecilia Granberry Phelps. He is survived by: his son Henry Vick Phelps, IV; his sisters, Irene Cole Phelps, Helen Carolyn Phelps May (Woody) and Vicki Phelps Domin; his nephew Herman Cooley May; and his niece Anne Vick Wilson.
