She was predeceased by: her spouse Cecil Dero Bennett; her parents, Dennis Shoemake and Rita Slaydon Shoemake; her brothers, Billy Mack Shoemake and Winston Shoemake; and her daughter-in-law Paula Bennett.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Bennett of Carriere, MS and Carol Bennett McRee (Tim) of Bay Springs, MS.; and her grandchildren, Phillip Bennett (Juanita), Travis Bennett (Jessica), Adam Bennett, Jonathan McRee (Johnna) and Angie McRee Stokes (Jeremy).
A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (128 MS-607, Picayune, MS 39466).
