He was predeceased by: his parents, John Winford Davis and Hattie Mae Coleman Davis; his wife Marian Davis; and his siblings, Ralph Davis, Charles Davis, Raymond Davis, Robert Davis, Jack Davis, Gene Davis, Rex Davis, Reba Davis and Caroline Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Davis (Shelby), Mitzi Durham (Roger), Sheila Buie (Rick), Scott Davis (Cindy) and Jennifer Bagwell (Ronnie); and his brother Billy Davis (Mary). He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews.
