He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lester Lewis and Lula Lee Stribling Lewis; and his siblings, Bonnie Milling, Hazel Lewis and Cecil Lee Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Barnett Lewis of Newton, MS; his children, Bruce Lewis (Deborah) of Terry, MS, Linda Strebeck (Mike) of Newton, MS, Anna Hull (Charles) of Canton, MS and Camille Simmons (Troy) of Newton, MS; and his sisters, Margie Harrison and Mary Willis. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
