It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Keithley Herring Jr. of Newton, Mississippi, who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Keithley Herring, Sr. and Haydena Carolyn Sherrard Crossley; and his siblings, Bobby Herring and Carolyn Herring. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Sue Ice Herring of Newton; his children, William "Trey" Herring, III (Sierra) of Ogden, KS, Whitney Stewart (John) and Wendi Weems (Josh) of Brandon; and his stepsons, Charles David Mason (Suzanne) of Indianola and Ricky Mason of Clinton. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several cousins.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery (248 Honor Circle, Newton, MS 39345).
