She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Clay and Dovie Clay; her daughter Vickie Arlene Shimfessel; and her siblings, Silas Clay, Jr., Elzie Lee Clay and Dovie Alene Seabourn.
She is survived by: her daughter Darlene Kay Kappelos (Peter); her grandchildren, Donnie Shimfessel (Shelly), Missy Spears and Kassie Kappelos (Chris Blea); and her great grandchildren, Lauren Joseph (Kenny), John Parker Shimfessel, Heath Spears, Wes Spears (Mallory) and Jessica Blea.
