It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Doris Gay of Newton, Mississippi, born in Scott, Mississippi, who passed away on October 22, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Gerry Sue Johnson; her parents, Guy Graham and Willie Hollingsworth Graham; and her siblings, Tommy Graham, Guyrene Everett, Ruby McDill, Maudine Hagwood and Holly Hall.
She is survived by: her son William Andy Gay (Darlene) of Lake; her grandchildren, Wesley Stewart (Karissa), Joey Johnson (Pam), Sacheen Morgan (Billy), Misty Loyd, Tanya Monts (Mike), Nicole Williams and Michelle Johnson; her son-in-law Mike Johnson of Griffin, GA; and her brothers-in-law, Durward Everett of Lake and Lessie Hall of Forest. She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
