With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy A. Pete of Newton, Mississippi, who passed away on June 14, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his children, Tracy Pete and Lynell Twiner; and his parents, John Rupert and Alma Carrie Tharp Pete. He is survived by: his wife Jimmie Carol Mayfield Pete of Newton; his sons, Larry Roy Pete of Kenner, LA and Tony Pete of Las Vegas, NV; and his stepson Jon Beryl Deal of Newton. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
