He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Edward and Nellie Ruth Gibbs Nelson. He is survived by: his sister Martha Sibley (Henry); his nephews, Aaron Sibley (Brooke) and Brian Sibley; his great-nephew Jace Sibley; and his great-niece Maggie Sibley.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Newton County Funeral Home - South Chapel (100 Old Hwy 15 Loop, Newton, MS 39345).
