With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Helen Simmons of Newton, Mississippi, who passed away on July 31, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Glover Burnell Simmons, Jr.; her parents, Thomas Nelson and Irene Cooper Nelson Betsill; and her siblings, Sarah Nelson Parker and Homer Nelson.
She is survived by: her sons, Burnell Simmons (Patsy) and Tommy Simmons; her niece Jennifer Weaver; her grandchildren, Bradly Simmons, Chase Simmons (Jessica) and Kristin Hockman (Steven); and her great grandchildren, Isaiah, Miriam Hockman, Avery, Jackson Simmons and Ryan Busby.
