It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Messer West of Newton, Mississippi, who passed away on April 23, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, D. R. Messer and Lois Messer; and her siblings, Joe Messer (Ivy), Harley Messer (Evelyn), Stella Davis (Jimmy), Pauline Morrison (Doug), Hulette Burnette (Cap) and Dorsey Messer (Bessie).
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Kitchings (Ben) of Decatur, Jennifer Breland (Joe) of Union, Jonathan West (Jennifer) of Hickory, Stanley West (Amanda) of Lawrence and Becky Roberts (Barry) of Decatur; and her brothers, Leon Messer of Phenix City, AL and Norman Messer of Opelika, AL. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
