He is survived by: his wife Wendy Cortes; his children, Kaitlyn Godfrey (Doug), Kathryn Knuth, Faith Allshouse and Josiah Cortes; his siblings, Jessica Smith (Jacob), Karla Smith (Lane), Kammie Carpenter (Kevin) and Jennifer Cortes Johnson; and his mother Faith Anderson (Randy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Highland Cemetery (3401 W 7th St, Hattiesburg, MS 39401). A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
