He was predeceased by: his wife Katie Chastain. He is survived by: his children, Ricky Chastain of Ellijay, GA, David Chastain of Ellijay, GA, Tim Chastain of Brenham, TX and Sandra Chastain Burroughs of Louisville, KY; and his stepchildren, Carl Sorey of Lake, MS, Charles Sorey of Forest, MS and Nelda Tyree of Forest, MS. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
