She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Shirley; her son Kelly Ross Flynt; her parents, Albert Embrey and Nora Embrey; and her siblings, Mary Cooley, Gerelene Pugh and Claty Mae Embrey.
She is survived by: her son Roger Flynt (Camilla); her grandchildren, Jessica Kenmore, Sarah Flynt, Logan Flynt, Victor Flynt, Amanda Bison (Clint) and Zachary Flynt; her great grandchildren, Skylar Bison and Joanna Bison; and her siblings, Albert Francis Embrey, Annie Merle Harwell and Nora Jean Majure.
