It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenda Thrash Williams (Newton, Mississippi), born in Conehatta, Mississippi, who passed away on April 2, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Nester Thrash and Thomas J. Thrash; her son Jon Malcolm; her husband Leon Williams; and her sister Nelda Thrash Oliphant of Canton, MS..

She is survived by: her son Thomas Alan (Tamara) of Madison, MS; and her grandchildren, Jacob and Lauren.
