He is survived by: his children, Troy Phillips, Kimberly Ann Fortenberry, Susan Phillips and Rachel Phillips (Mark Thomas); his grandchild Sydney Fortenberry; his sister Judith Fulton (Eddie Fulton); and his sister-in-law Sandra Phillips.
