He is survived by: his wife Simmie D Godwin; his son Rocky Godwin; his grandchildren, Felicity Broderick (Joe), Rocky Godwin (Amanda), Taylor Scharer (Caleb) and Landrey Godwin; and his great grandchildren, Joy Broderick, Jett Broderick, Elliot Godwin, Liam Scharer and Simmie Ann Godwin.
