She was predeceased by: her husband James "Jim" Lee Sowell; her parents, William Addy and Maxine Lewis Addy; and her great-niece Nova Buchanan. She is survived by: her daughter Felicia Sowell of Newton; her sister Barbara Addy Simmons (Steve) of Del Rio, TN; her nephews, Blake Buchanan (Aly) and Haven Haralson of Newton; her great-nephews, Elon Buchanan, Knox Buchanan and Remy Buchanan; her great-niece Iris Buchanan; and her pet Somethin'Serious.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:55 AM at the Newton County Funeral Home - South (100 Old Hwy 15 Loop, Newton, MS 39345). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
